For those of you that are interested in getting Wii Music, it turns out that it has a WiiConnect24 feature. From nintendo.com
Send your band-jam recordings to Wii Friends who have Wii Music. They’ll see your Mii™ band members, your players’ improv styles and your instrument selections. They can watch your recordings, or play over parts of your song, then send their modified recording back to you. Improv jams can be sent back and forth over WiiConnect24 and changed again and again.
Too bad that you can't play with your friends online. It would be great if you and 5 other people can play in your own band.
Nintendo announced that they are releasing a collection of revamped Gamecube games for the Wii. The following games that will be in the collection.

Mario Power Tennis
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes
Pikmin 2
These games were only announced in Japan. No word if these collection of Wii games will come to the U.S. and Europe.
Pokemon Platinum has sold up to 1 million copies in just 2 days. And that's only in Japan. Imagine how many units the game will sell when it comes to the U.S. and Europe.
